Dave Kain, Electric Guitar
Dave’s musical sensibilities and virtuoso prowess on guitar shines though on his work with the HV Electric Jazz Band. He brings thoughtful melodies and improvisations as he designs solos that proceed to their paramount with energy and drive. 
Dave studied at SUNY Purchase, Berklee College of Music, and eventually received a bachelors’ degree in jazz improvisation from Five Towns College of Music. Dave has studied with Joe Carbone, Joe Monk, Bill Farrish,  Jack Wilkins, Jay Azzolina, and Chris Morrison.

Dave has worked with some great musicians like Jon Cowherd, Ratzo Harris, Joel Frahm, Roy Assaf, Andy LaVerne, Harvie S, Jeff Hirschfield, Jerry Z, Sean Nowell, Travis Sullivan and Noah Preminger.
Dave is also very active as a teacher. He teaches regularly around the lower New York area and has performed clinics/performances at Clemson University, Dennison University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

Debbie Major, Lead Vocals
Debbie Major is a dynamic world-class vocalist and performer who has been thrilling live audiences for years with her vivacious, melt-your-heart charm and captivating vocal prowess. Her deeply soulful instincts and sensibilities show naturally, as she makes every song she sings her own. She is often the singer other vocalists and producers call when they need to "take it to the next level." She is also a prominent vocal coach, songwriter/arranger and instrumentalist.
Renowned music writer/radio host Larry Flick has described her awesome ability to draw upon her broadly diverse influences and make a song her own as she “delivers a performance that proudly wears the influence of Maureen McGovern and Patti Austin - an odd combination that makes perfect sense when you sit back and let Major work her magic…” (Billboard Magazine). Debbie has captivated thousands of fans and performed alongside great entertainers over the years, including Lou Rawls, Melissa Manchester, The Monkees, Red Buttons, Rich Little, and many more.
Besides her outstanding vocal abilities, Debbie is also the founder and visionary force behind an amazing non-profit venture called, "ZYLOFONE"(www.Zylofone.org). By bringing her insight and unique understanding of how to engage people with cognitive and physical disabilities, inviting them into the magical world of performing arts. Debbie has conceptualized an innovative teaching method that serves to educate and empower students to discover and develop their own inherent creative talents. Debbie's extensive knowledge and experience, combined with her unparalleled professionalism, natural enthusiasm, dedication, humor, compassion, and empathy will provide many aspiring performers with the tools needed to embark on successful careers in the performing arts.

Tim Veeder, Tenor Saxophone and Flute
Tim is a professional saxophonist, clarinetist, flautist, composer, arranger and educator based in the New York, NY area.
Tim brings his vast experience and solo mastery to the HV Electric Jazz Band as he blends melody and harmony into the musical fabric of the group. He realizes his important role in getting the point across, embellishing background riffs behind the lead vocal or instrument or shining through with a compelling, fiery solo performance.
Tim earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education (cum laude) in 2003 and his Master of Science degree also in Music Education in 2007. 
Tim has shared the stage with many world-renowned musicians such as guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli, saxophonist Richie Cannata (Billy Joel), Grammy nominated guitarist Jay Azzolina (Spyro Gyra, Jaco Pastorius), drummer Richie Morales (Stevie Wonder, the Brecker Brothers),  pianist Sullivan Fortner, trumpeter Cindy Bradley, Peter Stroud (Sheryl Crow), Marc Ford (Black Crowes), Harvie S (Tony Bennett, Stan Getz), Enrique Haneine (Ricky Martin, Jerry Bergonzi), Victor Jones(Dizzy Gillespie, Chaka Khan), Gayle Scott (Richard Elliot).
Tim also plays frequently with actor Danny Aiello as a featured soloist, including a December 2010 appearance on the Mike Huckabee Show for the FOX News Network, and has worked with Grammy Award winning producer Michael Broening (George Benson).
He also teaches music at the White Plains Public Schools, ranked nationally as one of the “Top 100 Schools in Music Education” by the NAMM Organization and is a “National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence”. 

Nir Kay, Keyboard
Having grown up in an Israeli-Argentinian home, Nir has been influenced by rhythms and harmonies from across the world and has incorporated them into his art. Working as a Jazz pianist and songwriter /composer for the last decade, Nir has been able to experience the music scene from many angles including playing at venues such as Carnegie Hall, working with the Music Department at Saturday Night Live!, and self-producing music for film and web-shorts. 
Nir received his music education at the Lagond Music School and at Hunter College under artists such as Rusty Cloud, Bill O'Connell, Harvie S., Charlie Lagond, Ryan Keberle, Doug Monroe and other music innovators. Throughout, Nir has been lucky to play with Jazz greats such as Omar Hakim, David Murray, Gary Smulyan, Greg Gisbert, Carl Allen, Joel Frahm, Miguel Xenon, Grammy nominee Roseanna Vitro, Emmy winner D.D. Jackson, and Grammy winner John Benitez. Nir graduated salutatorian from the Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter with a B.A in Music and Political Science.  
Working at Saturday Night Live!, Nir provided support for Lenny Pickett and the SNL Band. There, he had the opportunity to assist great artists such as Paul McCartney, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, Sia, Paul Simon, Rhianna and the Zac Brown Band. He also worked on the production team at Daily Mail TV. Nir Kay leads his own band with original Pop/R&B tunes, and has worked sessions for artists such as Maggie Rogers. He's enjoyed giving back to young musicians by teaching workshops and classes at the Lagond Music School.

Adrian Calonico, Electric Bass
Adrian has an incredible sense of time and timing. He has been the stable melodic driving force for the HV Electric Jazz Bands’ incomparable electric sound. Adrian knows how to lock down the groove and place himself between the core of the rhythm section and the primary lead vocal or instrument, both complementing and leading with his bottom note edge.
He appears in numerous groups in the area and is dedicated to providing an opportunity outlet for fellow musicians to get together from a wide array of musical genres at his Jam District open mic that he hosts in Elmsford, NY.

Jeff Weiner, Drums
Jeff has been performing for over 45 years in different musical projects in the area from top 40 to smooth jazz to rock. He understands his role as support for the group and creates a feel for the song by focusing on groove, arrangement, dynamics and emotion of his fellow bandmates as they play their part in the HV Electric Jazz Bands’ presentation of the music being presented.
Jeff brings a comprehension of song context and instrumentation so that he does not distract from the intent of the overall sound yet knows when to add his strong punch to groove and drive.
